Florida Department of Health to Offer Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccines | New

BREVARD COUNTY – With approval from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines can now be given to children aged 5 to 11.

Previously, Pfizer vaccines were approved for minors aged 12 and over. Pfizer COVID-19 for ages 5 and up is also offered at many clinics and pharmacies in Brevard and across the country. Go to www.Vaccines.gov to find the most convenient site.

The Brevard County Florida Department of Health will begin offering the Pfizer pediatric vaccine next week. Parents or guardians must accompany the child. The vaccine will be available without an appointment according to the schedule below.

The Viera Clinic is located at 2555 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera.

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Melbourne clinic is located at 601 East University Blvd, Melbourne.

Friday only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Titusville Clinic is located at 611 N Singleton Ave, Titusville.

Friday only from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
